Gastrointestinal Bleeding In COVID-19 Infection: A case-control study

Aim: Since the gastrointestinal tract contains ACE-2 receptors, symptoms, including bleeding (GIB), are frequently seen during COVID-19 infection. In addition, risk of GIB increases not only due to virus but also drugs used treatment this study, we aimed determine frequency in patients being treated infection intensive care unit (ICU), and examine effects anticoagulant, antiaggregant, corticosteroid, antibiotic, antiviral treatments on risk. 
 Material Methods: This retrospective study included a total 189 hospitalized unit. Patients were analyzed according presence GIB. The duration doses with steroid, pulse proton pump inhibitors analyzed. Intubation need mortality rates compared between without GIB.
